Omera Fuels Limited (OFL), formerly known as Mobil Jamuna Fuels Limited, is a premier downstream energy infrastructure facility specializing in the storage, handling, and logistics of High Sulfur Fuel Oil (HSFO), Low Sulfur Fuel Oil (LSFO), Diesel, and bulk liquid cargo in Bangladesh.
Operating as a strategic joint venture between state-owned Jamuna Oil PLC (a subsidiary of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation) and EC Securities Limited (the investment arm of East Coast Group), OFL seamlessly combines public-sector governance with private-sector agility through a 25:75 equity participation ratio.
With a storage footprint of 70,000 Metric Tons, OFL serves as an essential logistics partner in Bangladesh's energy supply chain, ensuring continuous fuel delivery to national power generation networks and commercial partners.
Our Story & Legacy
1998: Incorporated on December 3, 1998, as Mobil Jamuna Fuels Limited (MJFL) to build bulk fuel storage infrastructure in Chattogram.
2011: Formally renamed Omera Fuels Limited (OFL) on October 20, 2011, expanding its operational capabilities.
Base Operations: Commissioned a 70,000 MT state-of-the-art terminal on 6.175 acres in Guptakhal, East Patenga, Chattogram, adjacent to the MJL Bangladesh PLC LOBP plant and primary marine channels.
Subsidiary Expansion: Established Omera Tank Terminal Limited (OTTL), constructing a new, modern 40,000 MT facility on 2 acres of leased land of Chattogram Port Authority (CPA) to scale up total capacity to 110,000 MT.

NFPA-Compliant Fire Safety Network: Designed to NFPA-30 standards, featuring full-surface automated foam injection systems, ring-main fire water hydrants, and independent standby generators (450 KVA & 550 KVA) for continuous emergency power backup.
Automation & Overfill Protection: Integrated Radar Auto-Tank Gauging prevents manual intervention risks and safeguards against tank overfills.
Environment and Safety Standards: Our operations are governed by ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems) standards. Marine transfer protocols across all operations comply with internationally recognized oil spill prevention, environmental protection, and safety frameworks, ensuring responsible and sustainable operational practices.
